'Colectiv club disaster' documentary to be aired on 13 March by Discovery Channel

The documentary 'Colectiv club disaster' on the tragedy that took place on the night of 30 October 2015 at the Bucharest Colectiv club will have its premiere on Discovery Channel on 13 March, a release by the said TV channel sent to AGERPRES informs. 

The 44 minute-long film will be broadcast starting with 10pm. 

The documentary will show chronologically the facts that occurred that Friday night in Bucharest, the way they were related by those directly involved - survivors, their families, authorities and medical staff who took part in the rescue operations. There will also be a reenactment of the moments before and after the fire. 

Nick Allder, the international special effects expert, multi awarded for productions such as 'Alien' (1979) or 'Fifth element' (1997), took part in the making of this project as consultant for the safety-related effects. The commercial-free documentary is commissioned by the Discovery Networks, through the executive producer Charlotte Reid, to a Romanian team headed by Mihai Predescu, an over 20 year experienced producer in the international television.
