Romanian athlete Andrei Rares Toader won the shot put event, on Wednesday, in Priboj, Serbia, in the Challenger continental circuit of World Athletics, informs Agerpres.
Toader won with a throw of 20.71 meters, followed by the Bosnian Nermin Stitkovac, with 18.65 meters, and the Montenegrin Risto Drobnjak, with 14.14 meters.
Cristina Daniela Balan ranked second in the women's 1,500 meters, with a time of 4 min 20 sec 06/1200, behind the Swiss Joceline Wind, 4 min 10 sec 76/100.
