The National Directorate for Cyber Security (DNSC), together with Bitdefender, is organising the 2026 edition of the Bucharest Cybersecurity Conference (BCC2026) from October 20 to 22, a major event for international dialogue on cybersecurity.
According to the organisers, BCC2026 will bring together representatives of public authorities, European and international institutions, industry leaders, experts and members of the academic community. The conference is designed as a high-level dialogue platform for the international cybersecurity community.
The programme includes keynote presentations delivered by experts, industry representatives, public authorities and international organisations, as well as interactive sessions, including panel discussions and fireside chats, dedicated to exchanging experience, analysing the latest trends and identifying concrete, practical solutions to current challenges.
At the same time, round-table discussions, workshops and practical exercises will be held to encourage direct dialogue, collaboration among participants and the development of shared perspectives on how organisations and communities can more effectively anticipate, prevent and manage cyber threats.
The 2026 Bucharest Cybersecurity Conference is organised by DNSC, with the support of the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA), the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC), the National Coordination Centre NCC-RO and the National Association for Information Systems Security (ANSSI).
