The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Friday's session with increases on most indices, transactions amounting to 2.61 million lei (515,140 euros), 30 minutes into the session.
The main BET index, which shows the development of the 20 most liquid companies, inched up to 0.08%, and the BET-Plus index, which shows the development of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, also recorded an increase of 0.07%.
At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid titles, gained 0.07%, while the benchmark for investment fund performance, BET-BK, appreciated by 0.14%.
The BET-FI index of SIFs recorded an appreciation of 0.12%, and the BET-NG, the index of the 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, increased by 0.02%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, was down by 0.03%.
According to BVB data, the largest increases in share value were recorded by Aeta (3.33%), SSIF BRK Financial Group SA (+1.8%) and the Bucharest Stock Exchange (+1.78%).
On the other hand, the shares of Purcari Wineries Public Company Limited (-3%), Chimcomplex Borzesti (-2.63%) and Turbomecanica (-1.52%) were down.
