The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Monday's trading session with gains across all indices, with turnover reaching 8.08 million lei (1.58 million euro) after 45 minutes of trading.
The main BET index, which reflects the performance of the 20 most liquid companies, recorded an increase of 0.43%, while the BET-Plus index, which tracks the performance of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, rose 0.40%.
At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, comprising the 25 most traded shares, was up 0.41%, while the BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund returns, advanced 0.36%.
The BET-FI index of financial investment companies (SIFs) recorded a rise of 0.33%, and BET-NG, the index of the 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, was up 0.52%.
Meanwhile, the BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies from the AeRO market, increased 0.20%.
According to BVB data, the largest share price gains were recorded by Armatura (+14.55%), Electroaparataj (+5.29%) and Altur (+4.44%).
On the other hand, shares in COMCM Constanta (-5.88%), Condmag (-3.70%) and Impact Developer & Contractor (-3.36%) were down.
