The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Thursday's session with growth on most indices, with transactions of 5.98 million RON (1.21 million euros), carried out in the first half hour after the start of operations.
The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, appreciated by 0.65%, and the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares from the BVB, opened with an increase of 0.64%, agerpres reports.
Also, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid securities, registered an increase of 0.55%, while the yield benchmark of investment funds, BET-BK, rose by 0,42%.
The BET-FI index of SIFs depreciated by 0.13%, and BET-NG, the index of 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, gained 0.37%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, was down by 0.34%.
According to BVB information, the biggest increases in the value of shares were recorded by Armatura (+14.44%), SSIF BRK Financial Group (+4.56%) and BRD Groupe Societe Generale (+2.62%).
On the other hand, the shares of Biofarm (-1.94%), Socep (-1%) and Digi (-0.85%) were in decline.
