Bucharest Stock Exchange opens Wednesday's trading session lower across most indices

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened lower across most indices on Wednesday, with trading volume reaching RON 8.46 million (EUR 1.66 million) after the first 30 minutes of trading.

The main BET index, tracking the performance of the 20 most liquid companies, fell by 0.25%, while the BET-Plus index, covering the 43 most liquid BVB shares, was down 0.24%.

The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, representing the 25 most liquid titles, decreased by 0.24%, while the benchmark for investment funds, BET-BK, lost 0.10%.

The BET-FI index for SIFs recorded a decline of 0.36%, and BET-NG, covering the 10 energy and utilities companies, dropped 0.33%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies from the AeRO market, gained 0.20%.

According to BVB data, the largest share price gains were recorded by Armatura (+12.03%), Fondul Deschis de Investitii Globinvest Energy & Financials ETF (+3.32%) and Electromagnetica (+1.79%).

On the other hand, shares that registered decreases included Sinteza (-4.58%), Purcari Wineries Public Company Limited (-1.48%) and Aages (-1.40%).
