The Chamber of Deputies rejected, on Wednesday, the simple motion initiated by Save Romania Union (USR) against the Minister of Energy, Virgil Popescu.
There were 85 votes "in favour", 191 "against" and one abstention.
The debates on the motion titled "Romania without energy. Romanians pay the bill for Virgil Popescu's incompetence" took place in Tuesday's meeting.
