The Social Democratic Party (PSD), the National Liberal Party (PNL), the Hungarian Democratic Union of Romania (UDMR) and Save Romania Union (USR) agreed this weekend on their ministerial picks for the ongoing Bolojan Government. Ciprian-Constantin Serban it the pick for minister of Transport and Infrastructure.
Ciprian-Constantin Serban was born on December 22, 1985.
He studied at the 'Petre Andrei' University - Faculty of Political Sciences in Iasi (2008 - 2009) and at the Bucharest School of Economics (2012 - 2015), a Postgraduate Program for Professional Training and Development in Management and Leadership (2015-2016), a master's degree from the Bucharest School of Economics (2016 - 2018) and studies at the Carol I National Defense University - National Defense College - Department for Security and Leadership Studies (2018).
He held the positions of manager of SC Serban Impex SRL (2003-2007), administrator of SC Euro Concip SRL (2007-2016), councilor in the Neamt County Council (2012-2016), administrator of SC In2energy Holding SRL (2015-2016), City manager in the Roznov City Hall (September - December 2016).
Since 2016, he has served as a deputy on the tickets of the Social Democratic Party in a Neamt constituency. He was vice-chairman of the Social Democratic Party's parliamentary group in several parliamentary sessions of the 2016-2020 and 2020-2024 legislatures.
In the 2020-2024 legislature he served as chairman of the Committee on Transport and Infrastructure (until February 2022).
On December 20, 2024, he took the oath for the new term as a deputy. On December 21, 2024 he was appointed Social Democratic Party floor leader.
