Romania's Ministry of National Defence (MApN) has informed that on Tuesday morning Russian Federation forces conducted a new series of drone attacks on civilian infrastructure in Ukraine, near the border with Romania, in the northern area of Tulcea County.
According to MApN, the National Military Command Centre notified the General Emergency Inspectorate in order to set in place alerting measures for the population in the north of Tulcea County, and a RO-ALERT message was sent at 00:58hrs.
The air defence systems monitored two air targets that evolved in the border area, without entering the national airspace.
The air alert ceased at 01:46 hrs.
"The forces of the Ministry of National Defence continue to remain vigilant, keeping up the surveillance and coordination measures necessary to protect the public and the national territory."
