On Thursday, the government discussed, in its first reading, a draft emergency ordinance establishing measures to support access to the labor market for young people, vulnerable persons, and the long-term unemployed, announced spokesperson Ioana Dogioiu.
The draft Emergency Ordinance amends and supplements Law 76/2002 on the unemployment insurance system and labor force stimulation, agerpres reports.
"This ordinance introduces new solutions for access to the labor market for young people, vulnerable persons, and the long-term unemployed. Among the most important provisions: a stability bonus is established for young people between the ages of 16 and 30 who are unemployed, not in education, and not participating in vocational training activities; the categories of beneficiaries of active employment measures for which employers can receive job subsidies are expanded to include unemployed persons between the ages of 45 and 50, mothers with at least three dependent minor children, and persons who have served a custodial sentence," Dogioiu said.
