The Minister of Education and Research, Mihai Dimian, addressed a message to students on Friday before the start of the National Assessment, emphasizing the importance of this moment, but also the fact that it represents only one stage in a broader journey.
"The national assessment is an important moment that I encourage you to look at with confidence. But it represents just one step in a very long journey that must be traveled with patience, curiosity and a continuous desire to learn. In every high school, wonderful teachers await you, prepared to guide you and share their knowledge and experience. They do not expect perfection from you, but the interest in learning. I wish you all much success, inspiration and confidence! I thank the teachers who have been and are with you, as well as all those who are involved in carrying out the National Assessment," the minister said.
The national evaluation will begin on Monday with the written test in Romanian Language and Literature, with over 148,000 eighth grade graduates enrolled in this exam.
The exam will be organized in 2,956 educational institutions/exam centers.
The Mathematics test is scheduled for Wednesday, and students from national minorities will take the Mother Tongue and Literature test on Thursday.
