The Ministry of Finance will accelerate the simplification of the regulatory framework and the elimination of bureaucratic barriers that slow down entrepreneurial initiatives in order to support private investments with a focus on less developed areas and strategic areas such as agriculture, energy or telecommunications, announced the relevant minister, Alexandru Nazare.

The Minister of Finance met this week with representatives of two of the most important organizations in the business environment - Foreign Investors Council (FIC) and Romanian Business Leaders (RBL), with whom he discussed the strategic directions and actions of the institution.

"Digitalization and reform of ANAF - a firmly assumed priority. Through automation and transparency, we aim to reduce the administrative burden and increase efficiency in the relationship with taxpayers. The objective: a predictable, fair and favorable fiscal system for economic development. Supporting private investments, both Romanian and foreign, with an emphasis on less developed areas and strategic areas such as agriculture, energy or telecommunications. We will accelerate the simplification of the regulatory framework and the elimination of bureaucratic barriers that slow down entrepreneurial initiatives," Nazare wrote on his Facebook page on Wednesday.

The minister also mentioned the consolidation of public-private partnerships as a mechanism to launch major infrastructure and public services projects.
