The government has approved the continuation of investments funded by the Ministry of Development under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) for the completion of 5,372 projects currently underway nationwide worth RON 26 billion.
According to the Ministry of Development, 5,249 of the projects are conducted by local administrations and 123 by the central administration.
"We are securing funding for all these investment projects, for which there are orders to start conducting the works on August 19, 2025. We are weatherising 1,345 educational buildings, 772 schools, 202 high schools, 252 kindergartens and building 119 nurseries. We are modernising 191 healthcare facilities, 49 hospitals, 141 dispensaries and a polyclinic. We are making 1,900 blocks of flats more energy efficient and purchasing 1,184 non-polluting vehicles for local public transport," according to Development Minister Cseke Attila.
