The interim president of the PSD, Sorin Grindeanu, declared on Friday, in Slatina, that he had not discussed any coalition with AUR and that the Social Democrats are serious partners in the governing coalition of which they are part, along with the PSD, USR and UDMR.

"One: we decided to enter into an alliance with PNL, USR, UDMR and minorities, not just 100 people from the National Political Committee, but we held an extended vote in the party. Almost 5,000 people voted to enter this coalition. Two: I am not aware of any coalition that you are talking about, PSD - AUR. We have not even discussed such a thing. In order for us to be... we enter into a job of this type, we would have to leave the current coalition, which we do not want. It is not an issue that I want to comment on, because I have no reason to. The PSD, when it decided to enter this coalition, understood us to be serious partners, people who bring added value, through the proposed public policies, to this coalition and this government. We have no other thoughts "At this moment. I totally exclude it," Grindeanu replied when asked whether or not he excludes a coalition between PSD and AUR.

Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan declared on Thursday, on Antena 3 CNN, regarding the criticisms of the interim leader of the PSD, Sorin Grindeanu, that any party that considers that the Government is not doing its duty has the possibility to file motions of censure and create a majority in Parliament, "with AUR or with whoever can", so that the Government leaves.

"In conditions where any party considers that the Government is not doing its duty, it has the possibility to file motions of censure and create a majority in Parliament in such a way that, with AUR and whoever it can, the Government leaves. It's not a problem," said Bolojan.
