Romanian Intelligence Service (SRI) Director Eduard Hellvig attended the opening of the new academic year at the "Mihai Viteazul" National Intelligence Academy (NIA) and with this occasion he communicated to the institution's students that the profession for which they prepare is one where the ethical behavior represents an essential component that must govern their study years and also their carriers as intelligence officers.

 

According to a release posted on the website of the SRI, Director Eduard Hellvig pointed out that the service will later integrate the current students of the "Mihai Viteazul" Academy in operations where the correctness represents a "key-element."

 

On the other hand, Eduard Hellvig stated that especially at the doctoral school level the National Intelligence Academy "stands in front of a moment, that is treated as a new beginning."

"The SRI leadership implemented a substance modification set regarding the selection process, personnel, control and academic guidance, in order to regain a reputation that had suffered in the last period.
