Industrial production prices up 6.1pct in September 2025

Industrial production prices (domestic and non-domestic market) increased by 6.1 percent in September this year compared with the same period in 2024, according to the National Institute of Statistics (INS) data published on Tuesday.

Compared with August 2025, industrial production prices increased by 0.9 percent in September.

According to the official statistics, year on year, based on the industrial production price index, increases were recorded as follows: energy industry (+10.75 percent), consumer goods industry (+5.78 percent), durable goods industry (+4.82 percent), intermediate goods industry (+3.78 percent) and capital goods industry (+2.66 percent).

Moreover, across the total market (domestic and non-domestic market), the INS data show that in September 2025 compared with September 2024: prices for the production and supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning rose by 13.06 percent, water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities increased by 10.21 percent and prices in the manufacturing industry grew by 3.80 percent, while prices in the extractive industry decreased by 2.22 percent.

The INS mentioned that the data for August 2025 have been rectified, while those for September 2025 are provisional.
