President Klaus Iohannis said the economic relationship with Croatia could be considerably improved, announcing that he will participate on Tuesday with his Croatian counterpart, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic, in an economic forum in Bucharest.
"This visit highlights the importance we attach to deepening bilateral relations, but also to better cooperation and coordination within the EU and NATO. We have found that the level is excellent in terms of political dialogue. Economic relations can be considerably improved. To this end, a Romanian-Croatian economic forum will be held tomorrow, where we will participate together to encourage businesspeople to tighten up the relationship," Iohannis said on Monday, at Cotroceni Palace, in a joint press statement with his Croatian counterpart Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic. Croatian President is paying a state visit to Romania until Wednesday.
