More than 775 million euros will be available through the Just Transition Program for SMEs in Gorj, Hunedoara, Dolj, Galati, Prahova and Mures counties, the calls for projects to be opened between December 20, 2023 and March 20, 2024, announced on Saturday , Ministry of European Investments and Projects (MIPE).
"MIPE, through the Management Authority for the Just Transition Program (PTJ), is launching 6 project calls for the financing of SMEs from Gorj, Hunedoara, Dolj, Galati, Prahova and Mures counties. The project calls will be opened on December 20, 2023 - March 20, 2024 and will finance actions regarding the development of productive investments in SMEs that support sustainable growth and job creation. The supported investments will support the creation of sustainable jobs, including the training, improvement and retraining of people affected by the transition to a climate-neutral economy", it is mentioned in a MIPE press release sent to AGERPRES.
Thus, for Gorj county over 184.89 million euros are available from EU funds and co-financing from the state budget, for Hunedoara county - 131.96 million euros, ITI Valea Jiului - 48.96 million euros, Dolj county - 136.67 million euros, Galati county - 84.63 million euros, Prahova county - 104.52 million euros and Mures county - 83.903 million euros.
Eligible investments within a project will target the creation of a new unit, the expansion of an existing unit, or the diversification of a unit's production by creating new products or a fundamental change in the general production process of the product/products or the general provision of the service/services, with the aim of reconversion towards a green economy.
