President Nicusor Dan arrived at Parliament on Wednesday, where he is to present to the plenary sitting the National Defence Strategy for 2025-2030.
The Chamber of Deputies and the Senate are meeting in a joint session for the message delivered by President Nicusor Dan on this topic, agerpres reports.
Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan is also attending the meeting.
Romania's National Defence Strategy was previously analysed by the Supreme Council for National Defence (CSAT) and the Joint Parliamentary Defence Committees have proposed its approval to the plenary.
