The Social Democratic party calls on the European Commission Representation to also be mindful to the concerns voiced by the most representative magistrates' associations in Romania as regards "the erroneous, unreal affirmations" that have "repeatedly" appeared in the Cooperation and Verification Mechanism (CVM) report.

"Given the precision the European Commission Representation in Romania appeals to regarding the official stances expressed by the European Commission in relation to our country, we expect the same rigor as regards the concerns voiced by the most representative magistrates' associations in Romania as regards "the erroneous, unreal affirmations" that have "repeatedly" appeared in the CVM reports. A rigorous clarification is therefore necessary 'on the way data is collected for drawing up the CVM reports' which, from the magistrates' associations' viewpoint, has allowed for some errors/inaccuracies/truncated allegations which can only bring disservice to the independence of justice," a PSD post on Facebook shows.
