The head of Social Democratic Party (PSD), Liviu Dragnea, stated on Monday that the provisions of the governing protocol with Alliance of Liberals and Democrats (ALDE) were set down in the afternoon, shortly before going towards the signing of the document. "Yes. We have established (the provisions of the protocol - e.n.), right now I am heading to a final, very short discussion, to have a last look at the document. Soon, alongside with members from ALDE, we will sign the protocol in the Duca Hall. The protocol will refer to a proportional representation of the governmental structures and parliamentary cooperation. I am not taking with me the laptop and a chart, we will discuss (the Government structure - e.n.) when the case may be - and I hope that soon it will be the case - first of all, about the people and representation ensuring that Government will accomplish the provisions of the governing program. This is important. I am not a stingy person", Dragnea said in the Palace of Parliament.
Asked whether ALDE will get the Ministry of Justice, Dragnea answered: "We will discuss then, but I think it will not". The head of the PSD mentioned that they have already decided with ALDE that the representatives of the two parties will go together or separately to the consultations with the Chief of State, but this aspect will be announced together with Calin Popescu-Tariceanu. "We respect the program, we will come with a proposal together with Mr Tariceanu that we hope will be accepted", explained Dragnea.
He specified that on Wednesday morning, PSD will have a session of the Executive Committee to discuss the candidate for the Prime Minister position.
