More than 205 million euros have been requested for reimbursement from European money for the period 2021-2027, within the Sustainable Development Programme (PDD), the Ministry of European Investments and Projects (MIPE) informs on Tuesday.
"The Management Authority for the Sustainable Development Programme (PDD) within MIPE has submitted, today, the first documents this month for reimbursement to the European Commission. Specifically, documents were sent for the certification and reimbursement of approximately 1 billion RON (approx. 205 million euros). The amounts represent eligible spending within the projects carried out under this programme," reads the press release.
According to the same source, the Sustainable Development Programme has a total budget of 5.25 billion euros, of which over 4 billion euros are European money.
Within the programme, projects are financed for the construction, rehabilitation and expansion of water/wastewater systems, efficient waste management, biodiversity conservation, air quality monitoring or risk management for the prevention of natural disasters.
