Romania's team qualified for the final tournament of the CEV U18 Volleyball European Championship 2026 | Men after defeating Greece with a score of 3-0 (25-16, 25-17, 25-17) on Sunday, at the Olimpia Sports Hall in Ploiesti.
The Tricolours prevailed in just 65 minutes and won Group B.
Mario Eduard Panait (12 points), Matei George Josan (11) and Darius-Mihaita Lae (10) were the standout Romanian players.
For Greece, Emmanouil Outzis impressed with 10 points.
Romania ranked first in the final standings with 8 points, followed by Greece with 5 points, Estonia with 5 points, Ireland with 0 points.
The final tournament will take place in Italy from 7 to 18 July.
