Romanian companies exhibited in Paris furniture, interior decorations, glassware, fine ceramics and design solutions, within the international fair Maison & Objet, carried out September 6 to 10.
According to a release of the Ministry for the Business Environment, Trade and Entrepreneurship (MMACA), sent to AGERPRES Wednesday, under the brand of the furniture sector "Style, Comfort, Durability - Romanian Furniture", the Romanian companies exhibited in the national pavilion arranged on 465- square-meter area.
"During the five days of the event, the Romanian producers had the opportunity to present the quality of Romanian products and solutions in the field of furniture and interior decorations. At the same time, through the direct meetings, B2B, they laid the foundations of new partnerships to increase the export and collaboration with real estate developers, with large networks of shops and hotels, with profile associations and distribution companies, both in France and in the EU, as well as in other countries outside the community space," says MMACA.
The Romanian participation in the Maison & Objet was organized by the Ministry for the Business Environment, Trade and Entrepreneurship, in public-private partnership with APMR, the association in the field of furniture, within the Export Support and Promotion Programme, with partial financing from the state budget. The budget allocated to this fair was about 1.69 million lei. The companies participating in the Maison & Objet fair were: Ardudana, Caro Jibou, Dis Prod, Entourage Furniture, Glass Fascination, Freymob Design, Ita Production, Lemn Prod Ex Com, Mobex, II negru Tiberiu Marius Forester, Rebras Prodimpex, Sophia 2004 and Szel Mob.
According to MMACA, Maison & Objet is one of the most important European and world events in the field of furniture, interior decoration, design and projects, which are twice a year (in January and September). The fact that the event is a large one is demonstrated by the annual organisation of two editions in Paris - with over 3,000 exhibitors from over 70 countries, at each edition, presenting their offer on an area of approximately 111,000 square meters, the release reads.
