It is necessary that we work together so that what happened on September 11, 2001, never happens again," Dragnea wrote on Facebook.

The terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 had a deep impact, not just on the American people, but on people all over the world. In these moments of pain and grief, in the name of the Romanian Government, we are in solidarity with the American people at the commemoration of the victims of this terrible tragedy. We remain resolved in our commitment to fight against the common terrorist threat and loyal to our powerful cooperation, meant to promote stability and security in various parts of the world," PM Dancila's message reads, according to the press release.
