Un cutremur cu magnitudinea de 6,3 grade a lovit miercuri vestul Afganistanului, potrivit Institutului geologic american, lovind o zonă în care peste 2.000 de persoane au fost ucise după un cutremur similar în weekend, transmite AFP, informează News.ro.
Cutremurul s-a produs la o adâncime mică, în jurul orei locale 05:10 (00:40 GMT), cu epicentrul la aproximativ 29 de kilometri nord de oraşul Herat, precizează USGS.
Deocamdată nu există informaţii despre victime.
Peste 2.400 de persoane au fost ucise în cutremurele din Afganistan, a anunţat, duminică, administraţia talibană.
Cel puţin şapte cutremure s-au produs, sâmbătă, vestul ţării şi au lovit la 35 km nord-vest de oraşul Herat, unul dintre ele având magnitudinea de 6,3 grade, a anunţat Institutul Geologic al SUA (USGS).
