Weather will cool down starting today, and there will be rain in most of Romania, according to the latest forecasts of the National Weather Administration.
Thus, between November 18, 10:00hrs and November 19, 14:00hrs, rain is expected in Oltenia, Muntenia and Dobrogea, with water accumulations of 20...30 l/sqm. In Transylvania and Moldavia there will be mixed precipitation, and very early on Wednesday it will snow. Snow expected to accumulate up to 12 cm deep.
In the mountains, snowfall will gradually prevail, and snow will accumulate on the ridges, where it will exceed 15 cm.
Locally and temporarily, wind will intensify during the day in the east, south-east and centre of the country, and at night in the southern regions, with gusts generally of 40 to60 km/h.
On Wednesday, the highs will be between 4 and 11 degrees Celsius.
