Romania is participating with a team of 6 athletes, 4 men and 2 women, in the World Weightlifting Championships, scheduled for December 5-16, in Bogota, Colombia, informs the Romanian Weightlifting Federation, told Agerpres.
According to the official Facebook page of FRH, the six athletes are: Cosmina Pana (45 kg category), Mihaela Cambei (49 kg category), Marian Luca (61 kg category), Ionadi Iancu (61 kg category), Andreea Cotruta (55 kg category) and Loredana Toma (71 kg category).
537 athletes from 93 countries on the 5 continents will participate in the World Championships that will take place between December 5 and 16.
The WC edition in Bogota is the first competition for qualification for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
