As many as 14 persons have become infected with West Nile virus in the last week in Romania, bringing the total number to 37, the National Institute of Public Health reported on Thursday.
The 37 cases have been recorded since the beginning of the surveillance of the infection with this virus, i.e. June 6, until September 15.
According to the source, two deaths were recorded, one in Constanta County and one in Braila County, both counties in southeastern Romania.AGERPRES
