An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.2 Richter scale degrees occurred on the night of Sunday to Monday at 1:21 in Vrancea County, in the Vrancea seismic zone, according to information published by the National Institute for Earth Physics Research and Development (INCDFP).
The earthquake struck at a depth of 136 kilometers (km), near the following cities: 32 km west of Focsani, 56 km north of Buzau, 80 km east of Sfantu-Gheorghe, 90 km east of Brasov, 94 km southwest of Barlad, and 98 km northeast of Ploiesti.
The most significant earthquake this year, with a magnitude of 5.4, occurred on September 16 in Buzau County.
