The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MADR) has launched the national online platform AKIS (Agricultural Innovation and Knowledge System), a digital tool that offers a collaborative framework for the generation, transfer and application of knowledge and innovations.
According to a press release from the institution, sent to AGERPRES on Wednesday, AKIS brings together individuals, institutions, companies and organizations from the agricultural and rural environment, in order to facilitate the integration of relevant actors, the interaction between science and practice, thus ensuring the information flow and accelerating the implementation of new ideas by farmers and the entire rural community.
