Romania: flu death toll reaches 118

The flu season's death toll has reached 118, informs the National Centre for Supervision and Control of Communicable Diseases of the National Public Health Institute (INSP).

The most recent 5 casualties are from the counties of Timis, Arges, Prahova and Olt, four men - a 47-year old man from Timis County, two from Prahova County, aged 40 and 68, respectively, and one woman aged 81 from Olt County.

All five had pre-existing medical conditions, three had not been vaccinated against the flu and two with unknown vaccination records, according to INSP.
