In the limits of the 59 kg cat., Ana Maria Puiu defeated Luna Rothenberger of Germany in the requalification and Anna Tieliegina of Lithuania in the bronze medal match. On Wednesday, in the last eight, Bajan got past Dutchwoman Olivia Jade van Kleunen in the last eight and lost to Ukraine's Aida Kerimova in the quarter-finals.
In the 57 kg cat., in the eights, Georgiana Carla Lirca defeated Sweden's Tindra Olivia Dalmyr, but lost the quarterfinal to Hungary's Gerda Terek.
