In the limits of the 59 kg cat., Ana Maria Puiu defeated Luna Rothenberger of Germany in the requalification and Anna Tieliegina of Lithuania in the bronze medal match. On Wednesday, Pantiru defeated Hungary's Fruzsina Terek in the preliminaries, but lost in the quarter-finals to Belarus's Alina Shavchuk.
In the 50 kg cat., Nicoleta Cristina Bajan got past Hungary's Bianka Fath in the qualifiers, but lost the bronze final to Russia's Violetta Biriukova, coming in fifth. On Wednesday, in the last eight, Bajan got past Dutchwoman Olivia Jade van Kleunen in the last eight and lost to Ukraine's Aida Kerimova in the quarter-finals.
In the 57 kg cat., in the eights, Georgiana Carla Lirca defeated Sweden's Tindra Olivia Dalmyr, but lost the quarterfinal to Hungary's Gerda Terek.
