Arrears to the consolidated general budget increased 6% in September 2024 compared to the previous month, reaching 585.7 million lei, up from 552.1 million lei in August, according to data published on the Ministry of Finance (MF) website and consulted by AGERPRES.
Arrears over 90 days decreased 11.73%, from 174.8 million lei to 154.3 million lei, while those over 120 days went up 11.8%, from 303.5 million lei in August 2024 to 339.4 million lei in September 2024. Arrears over 360 days recorded a 24.6% advance, from 73.8 million lei to 92 million lei.
According to the quoted source, regarding local budgets, arrears went up 7.2%, from 503.89 million lei (in August 2024) to 540.5 million lei (in September 2024).
Arrears over 90 days rose 1.5% to 135.3 million lei, those over 120 days increased 12.1% to 326.1 million lei, and those over 360 days grew 27.7% to 79.2 million lei.
In the chapter "State and Autonomous Budget," arrears decreased from 48.3 million lei in August 2024 to 45.2 million lei in September (-6.42%).
Arrears over 90 days fell 20.17% to 19 million lei. Those over 120 days increased 6.3% to 13.4 million lei, while those over 360 days rose to 12.9 million lei (an increase of 9.3%).
