MP Biro Rozalia, who is running for mayor of Oradea, said that she voted on Sunday for a safer future and a better life for Oradea citizens.
She cast her vote immediately after the polls opened.
"I voted for a European Parliament that makes decisions for the citizen and focused on the family. I voted for a safer future and a better life for Oradea citizens, for a family-friendly city, for a city of entrepreneurs and a city of partnerships," Biro Rozalia told AGERPRES.
Leader of the Hungarian Democratic Union of Romania (UDMR) women and of the Women's Organisation of the European People's Party (EPP), Biro Rozalia was accompanied to the polling station by her husband, Biro Barna, and their two children - Bernadett, a law student in Cluj, and Barna, a medical student in Targu Mures.
Moreover, the candidate for mayor of Oradea was accompanied to the polling station by her father, nonagenarian Fazakas Janos, present this time as well as in previous elections.
