Bucharest firefighters pulled, on Friday evening, from the 6th floor, the third person who died in the blast at the block of flats in Sector 5 of Bucharest, informs the Press Office of the Bucharest-Ilfov Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (ISUBIF).
The police are conducting investigations, under the supervision of the Prosecutor's Office with the Sector 5 Court.
Gas company Distrigaz Sud's intervention teams stopped the gas supply to the block where the explosion occurred on Thursday and the connection valve was sealed, but on Friday morning, following a new report of a gas smell, they found that the seal had been broken, the company informed in a release.
According to the cited source, the company's intervention teams are operating in the field.
Three people died and 13 were injured following the explosion.
