Bucharest hosting Romania's digital transformation forum

Cyber security public officials and specialists are attending today the seventh edition of the "Digital Romania Forum" event organised by the Financial Intelligence publication.

Discussed at the forum will be Romania's digital transformation; Romania's digital transformation on National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) investments and the 2021-2027 Multiannual Financial Framework; industrial development amid the latest technological revolution; governance of the government cloud platform; digital service platforms offered by the state; digital transformation of energy services; implications of digital transformation in the banking and finance sector; innovation in the era of Artificial Intelligence; smart cities and urban digital infrastructures, and cyber-resilience - Romania's preparedness for digital crises.

According to the organiser, expected to participate are Luca Tagliaretti, executive director of the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre; Dan Cimpean - director of the National Directorate of Cyber Security (DNSC); Cristin Popa, director of monitoring and control at the National Authority for Communications Administration and Regulation (ANCOM); Alexandru Petrescu - chairman of the Financial Oversight Authority (ASF); Alexandru Dobrev - head of service, Financial Market Infrastructures Monitoring Service, Directorate for Monitoring Financial Market Infrastructures and Payments of the National Bank of Romania (BNR); Andrei Popa - advisor to the energy minister; Edward Creescu - chairman of the Software and Services Industry Employers' Association (ANIS).
