The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Thursday's trading session with all but one indices in the green and RON 133-plus million (EUR 26.81 million) worth of trades.
The main BET index, which tracks the most liquid 20 companies, rose 0.54 percent to 18,042.59 points, and the BET-Plus index which shows the evolution of the top liquid 43 shares gained 0.52 percent.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT of the top-liquid 25 issuers closed 0.59 percent higher, while the return benchmark index for stock investment funds BET-BK gained 0.86 percent.
The BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies inched up 0.14 percent, while the sectoral energy and related utilities index BET-NG advanced 0.31 percent.
The BET AeRO index of the 20 representative companies on the AeRO market closed 0.31 percent lower.
The most traded stocks on the Regulated Market were OMV Petrom, with RON 42.30 million in trades, followed by Hidroelectrica, which generated trades worth RON 9.55 million, and Fondul Proprietatea, with trades of RON 5.82 million.
According to BVB, the best performing issuers were Prebet (+14.72 percent), Bermas (+7.97 percent), and Romcab (+7.14 percent).
Conversely, the issuers on a significant downward trend were Condmag (-8.33 percent), Ropharma (-3.88 percent), and Chimcomplex (-2.72 percent).
