Bucharest Stock Exchange closes higher Thursday's session

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Thursday's session higher on all indices, and trading exceeded 692.38 million RON (139.10 million euros), with transactions with bonds issued by the Ministry of Finance.

The most liquid stocks were those of Premier Energy PLC, with transactions of 72.61 million RON, followed by shares of Digi Communications, with 28.37 million RON, and Banca Transilvania, with 15.50 million RON.

The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies lited on the Regulated Market, appreciated by 0.07%, up to 17,071.85 points, and BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, closed up by 0.06%.

The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, recorded an increase of 0.12%, while the SIF index, BET-FI, appreciated by 0.69%.

The BET-BK index, the benchmark of investment funds' performance, increased by 0.04%, and BET-NG, which measures the evolution of the ten energy and utilities companies, recorded an appreciation of 0.05%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, closed up 0.30%.

The best developments were recorded by shares of Carbochim (+3.33%), Compa (+2.42%) and Comelf (+2.18%).

On the other hand, the most significant decreases were recorded by shares of Mecanica Ceahlau (-10.06%), Ropharma (-5.73%) and IAR SA Brasov (-1.95%).
