The Bucharest Stock Exchange closed higher on almost all indices Wednesday's session, and the total value of transactions amounted to 77.62 million RON (15.59 million euros).
Share transactions exceeded 68.71 million RON (13.80 million euros), and the most liquid shares on the regulated market were those of Banca Transilvania, with exchanges of 25.51 million RON, followed by shares of Hidroelectrica, with 7.25 million RON, and Digi Communications N.V. - 5.38 million RON.
The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, appreciated by 1.48%, up to 17,365.14 points.
The BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares, closed up by 1.44%, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, rose by 1.36%, and the SIF index, BET-FI, appreciated by 0.09%.
The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, registered an advance of 1.88%, while BET-NG, which measures the evolution of the ten energy and utility companies, closed up by 1.79%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, depreciated by 0.17%.
The best developments were recorded by the shares of SIF Hoteluri (+11.39%), Armatura (+10.58%) and Sinteza (+6.80%).
On the other hand, the most significant decreases were recorded by the shares of Carbochim (-5.77%), Turism, Hoteluri, Restaurante Marea Neagra (-4.91%) and SSIF BRK Financial Group (-2.53%).
