Bucharest Stock Exchange closes lower Thursday's session

The Bucharest Stock Exchange closed Thursday's session lower, with transactions of 94.63 million RON (19.03 million euros), of which over 93%, respectively 88.14 million RON, represented the transactions with shares.

The most liquid shares were those of Fondul Proprietatea, with transactions of 28.18 million RON, followed by the shares of Transilvania Bank, with 10.01 million RON, and of OMV Petrom - 7.89 million RON.

The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, decreased by 1.56%, to the value of 17,728.02 points, and BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the most liquid 43 shares from the Stock Exchange, lost 1.51% of their value.

The extended blue-chip BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid stocks fell 1.41%, while the SIF index BET-FI climbed 0.20%.

The BET-BK index, the yield benchmark of investment funds, depreciated by 1.17%, and the BET-NG, which measures the evolution of ten energy and utility companies, closed down by 1.56%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, fell by 1.54%.

The best developments were registered by Romcab (+6.25%), Turism, Hoteluri, Restaurante Marea Neagra (+4%) and the Santierul Naval Orsova (+2.21%).

On the other hand, the most important decreases were recorded by the shares of Comelf (-10.69%), Societatea de Constructii Napoca (-7.93%) and SIF Hoteluri (-7.69%).
