Bucharest Stock Exchange closes lower Thursday's session

The Bucharest Stock Exchange closed Thursday's session lower on most indices, with trading of 62.2 million RON (12.5 million euros), of which 56.428 million RON (11 .34 million euros) represented transactions with shares.

The most liquid shares were those of Transilvania Bank, with transactions of 4.246 million RON, followed by the shares of OMV Petrom, with 2.577 million RON, and of Fondul Proprietatea, with 2.427 million RON.

The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, decreased by 0.15%, to the value of 17,629.32 points, and BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the most liquid 43 shares from the Stock Exchange, decreased by 0.16%.

The extended blue-chip BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid stocks fell 0.19%, while the SIF index BET-FI declined 0.72%.

The BET-BK index, the yield benchmark of investment funds, fell by 0.14%, and the BET-NG, which measures the performance of the ten energy and utility companies, closed down by 0.31%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, rose by 0.31%.

The best developments were registered by the shares of Promateris (+14.93%), Romcab (+5.15%) and Compa (+3.90%).

On the other hand, the most important decreases were recorded by the shares of UAMT (-9.41%), SIF Hoteluri (-7.37%) and Turbomecanica (-7.09%).
