Bucharest Stock Exchange closes lower Tuesday's session

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) moderated its decline in Tuesday's session, and the value of transactions was 116.227 million RON (23.071 million euros).

The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, depreciated by 0.45%, to the value of 16,570.20 points, and BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, closed down by 0.56%.

The BET-XT blue-chip index, the 25 most liquid stocks, fell 0.60%, while the SIF index, BET-FI, fell 1.42%.

The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, fell 0.62%, and the BET-NG, which tracks the performance of ten energy and utility companies, fell 0.27%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, closed down 2.47%.

The most liquid stocks were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions of 30.029 million RON, followed by Hidroelectrica shares, with 19.616 million RON, and OMV Petrom, with 8.532 million RON.

The best developments were recorded by Erste Group Bank shares (+4.06%), Rompetrol Rafinare (+3.88%) and SIF Hoteluri (+3.39%).

On the other hand, the most significant decreases were recorded by Electroaparataj (-14.84%), Turism, Hoteluri, Restaurante Marea Neagra (-9.38%) and Condmag (-7.69%).
