Bucharest Stock Exchange closes Tuesday's session a drop of over 2%

The Bucharest Stock Exchange closed Tuesday's session with a drop of over 2% on all indices, and the total value of the transactions amounted to 135.86 million RON (almost 28 million euros), inform agerpres.ro.

Share transactions exceeded 118.66 million lei and the most liquid securities on the regulated market were those of Banca Transilvania, with exchanges of 34.56 million RON, followed by OMV Petrom shares, with almost 16.3 million RON, and of Hidroelectrica - 15.33 million RON.

The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, depreciated by 2.35%, up to 16,060.28 points.

The BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid stocks, closed down by 2.40%, the extended blue-chip BET-XT index, of the 25 most liquid stocks, went down by 2.41%, and the index of SIFs, BET-FI, depreciated by 3.07%.

The BET-BK index, the performance benchmark of investment funds, registered a decline of 2.80%, while the BET-NG, which measures the performance of the ten energy and utility companies, closed down by 1.95% .

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, depreciated by 3.06%.

The best developments were recorded by Sinteza (+14.72%), Artego (+6.67%) and AETA (+5.07%).

On the other hand, the most important decreases were recorded by Mecanica Fina (-14.63%), Altur (-14.29%) and Carbochim (-11.43%).
