Bucharest Stock Exchange ends stagnating trading session

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Tuesday's trading session in stagnation, and the value of the transactions recorded during the day reached 46.41 million lei (9.33 million euro).

The most liquid securities were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions of 6.78 million lei, followed by OMV Petrom shares, with 5.94 million lei, and Transport Trade Services (TTS) - 5.7 million lei.

Bucharest Stock Exchange's main index, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, stagnated at 18,111.09 points, as did BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid stocks on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.

The broad blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, fell 0.02%, while the SIF index, BET-FI, lost 0.55% of its value.

The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund returns, dropped 0.68%, while the BET-NG index, which tracks the performance of the ten energy and utilities companies, closed up 0.57%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 companies representative of the AeRO market, was slightly down 0.01%.

The best performances were recorded by UCM Resita (+13.97%), Romcab (+6.25%) and Bittnet Systems (+3.38%).

On the other hand, the most important decreases were recorded by the shares of Societatea de Constructii Napoca (-14.61%), TTS (-6.96%) and Conted (- 4.65%).
