The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) had RON 6.047 billion or 1.73% knocked off its capitalization over the week of November 18 - 22, while the value of share trades increased by 68.54% compared to the previous week, shows data released by the BVB.
The stock market's capitalization reached RON 342.516 billion over the week November 18 - 22, down from RON 348.563 billion the week before.
Share trading generated a turnover of RON 489.259 million, considerably higher than the RON 290.287 million recorded the previous week.
The best trading day on the BVB was Friday, November 22, when the turnover hit RON 334.558 million; the worst day was Thursday, November 21, with trading at mere RON 25.376 million.
The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange - the BET, which tracks the most liquid 20 companies - closed the week at 17,134.54 points.
Antibiotice was the most liquid issuer on the main segment of the BVB, with RON 309.049 million worth of trades and a price decrease of 15.64%.
Banca Transilvania and Hidroelectrica also saw top trading volumes of RON 48.387 million (-3.26%), and RON 40.717 million (1.64%) respectively.
The top risers were Sinteza (60%), Romcarbon (23.91%) and Condmag (+22.22%).
Conversely, the top three fallers were TTS Transport Trade Services with a decline of 22.03%, followed by Antibiotice (-15.64%) and Romcab (-13.04%).
