The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened on Friday with increases on most indices, and the value of transactions amounted to 5.485 million lei (1.1 million euros), after 30 minutes from the start of the session.
The main index BET, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, recorded an appreciation of 0.18%, while the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares of the BVB, also recorded an advance of 0.18%.
At the same time, the broad blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, rose 0.16%, while the benchmark for investment funds, BET-BK, fell 0.22%.
The BET-FI index of SIFs dropped 0.17%, while the BET-NG, the index of ten companies in the energy and utilities sector, was up 0.21%.
Likewise, the BET AeRO index, which includes 20 companies representative of the AeRO market, was down 0.08%.
According to BVB data, the biggest increases in share value were recorded by Medlife (+5.42%), Ropharma (+2.78%) and Sphera Franchise Group (+2.26%).
On the other hand, Carbochim (-7.84%), Fondul Proprietatea (-4.83%) and Altur (-4.22%) were down.
