The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Friday's trading session lower on all indices, with a turnover of 77.09 million lei (15.5 million euros), of which 64.71 million lei (13.01 million euros) represented the trading of shares.
The most liquid securities were those of OMV Petrom, with transactions of 15.32 million lei, followed by the shares of Banca Transilvania, with 13.77 million lei, and of Fondul Proprietatea - 5.28 million lei.
The main Bucharest Stock Exchange index, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, fell 1.91% to 17,388.74 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, lost 1.84% of its value.
The broad blue-chip index, BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, fell 1.67%, while the SIF index, BET-FI, fell 0.55%.
The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund returns, depreciated 1.72%, while the BET-NG index, which tracks the performance of the ten energy and utilities companies, closed 1.87% lower.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 companies representative of the AeRO market, was down 0.04%.
The best performances were recorded by Condmag (+10%), Roca Industry Holdingrock1 (+7.95%) and UCM Resita (+7.30%).
On the other hand, the most important decreases were recorded by Casa de Bucovina - Club de Munte (-7.35%), Bursa de Valori Bucuresti (-7.13%) and Santierul Naval Orsova (-5.76%).
