Bucharest stocks close Wednesday's trading session higher

The Bucharest Stock Exchange closed Wednesday's session with growth on almost all indices, and the value of transactions amounted to 3.29 billion RON (661.19 million euros).

The main index of the Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, registered an appreciation of 0.49%, up to 18,399.41 points, and BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the most liquid 43 shares from the Stock Exchange, closed with an advance of 0.44%.

The extended blue-chip BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid stocks rose 0.46%, while the index of SIFs, BET-FI, closed up 0.04%.

The BET-BK index, the yield benchmark of investment funds, rose by 0.45%, and the BET-NG, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, closed up by 0.05%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, recorded a depreciation of 0.06%.

The most liquid securities were registered by Banca Transilvania, with transactions of 17.19 million RON, seconded by the shares of TTS - 6.54 million RON and BRD - Groupe Societe Generale - 6.45 million RON.

The best developments were registered by the shares of Armatura (+14.45%), MedLife (+4.24%) and Purcari Wineries Public Company Limited (+2.19%), while the most significant decreases were recorded by the shares of Societatea de Constructii Napoca (-12.35%), Bermas (-4.73%) and Turism, Hoteluri, Restaurante Marea Neagra (-3.33%).
